A Traditional Housewarming

Bread - So you never go hungry.
Wine - So your life is always sweet.
Salt - So there is always spice in your life.
And a Candle - So you always have light.

Bless this house as we come and go
Bless this house as the children grow
Bless our families when they gather in
Bless this house with love and friends.

May the roof above us never fall in.
And may the friends gathered below it never fall out.

Walls for the wind, a roof for the rain,
and drinks beside the fire.
Laughter to cheer you and those you love near you,
and all that your heart may desire!

Home is where friendships are formed and families are grown;
where joy is shared and true love is known;
where memories are made and seeds of life are sown.
This is the place that people call HOME.
